A couple was yesterday remanded to prison by Chief Magistrate Priya Sewnarine-Beharry over slashing a young man across his chest with a surgical blade.
It was alleged at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Court that Daniel Mohamed robbed Andrew Barrington of $16,000 on August 8. It was further alleged that one week after the robbery, Nikeisha Abram, 26, of Cul-de Sac Street, North Ruimveldt, who is Mohamed’s girlfriend, took him to Barrington’s residence,
