Four Brazilian miners were killed and one injured after they were trapped in a mining pit collapse in the vicinity of Eterinbang, in Region Seven yesterday.
The circumstances in which the men died were unclear up to press time and police officials would only confirm the deaths of the four Brazilian nationals and the injury of another, Jose Roberto Diaz, who was taken to a city hospital.
The bodies were transported from the area to the Ogle Airport last evening and they are currently at the Lyken Funeral Parlour
