The Bank of Guyana has issued two souvenir coins to mark the 250th anniversary of the Berbice Slave Rebellion and the 175th anniversary of Indian Immigration to Guyana.
A release from the Central Bank said that both commemorative coins have a face value of two thousand dollars and are made of cupro-nickel weighing 28g each.
