A man was struck down by a truck and died on the spot at the Rupert Craig Highway, in Georgetown yesterday afternoon.
He was identified as Stanley Roach and his body is currently at the Lyken Funeral Parlour awaiting a post-mortem examination, which is scheduled to be conducted shortly. Family members were still to identify his body up to press time yesterday.
According to eyewitnesses, Roach was standing on the shoulder of the southern carriageway between Sheriff Street
