Several days after the body of a 27-year-old farmer was extricated from the Bonasika Creek, Essequibo River, investigations are still being conducted to determine how he died.
The dead man has been identified as Anthony Evans, a resident of the Essequibo coast who had been reported missing. This newspaper understands that he had been missing for a considerable amount of time. A source said that the man has been buried already because his body was already in a badly decomposed state. “His whole top part was rotten and they just had to cut him and bury him right away.”
