Dear Editor,
It would be churlish of me not to congratulate Ruel Johnson on his Guyana Prize for Best Book of Fiction which he so kindly signed for me in the Oasis cafe a week back. My hope is that Dr Dabydeen will find a berth for it in a future run of the Caribbean Press. No gruel for Ruel! Congrats.
