Tallawahs triumphed by seven wickets at the Queen’s Park Oval as the curtains came down on the CPL amidst celebrations and fireworks.

Sarwan has been criticized for promoting Denish Ramdin and tailender Sunil Narine up the batting order ahead of James Franklin.

“I take full responsibility,” said Sarwan.

“The (batting) adjustments didn’t pay off tonight and I will take all the blame for that because we tried to get some momentum going. I made some mistakes and it cost us the game”.

The Warriors, sent in to bat, made 128 for five off 20 overs with Sarwan changing up the batting order in an effort to boost a slow run rate.

Narine entered the middle with the score on 79 for three after 15 overs while Franklin came in with 18 balls left in the innings.

He faced half of the remaining balls and scored 17, which was the third highest score of the innings behind Lendl Simmons’ 40 off 44 balls and Denesh Ramdin’s 29 off 34.

“Maybe if we got Franklin up a bit earlier we could have probably posted a better total,” said Sarwan.

“… but I live by my decisions.”
