The former six-time NACRA Sevens champions will travel to the Cayman Islands in six weeks on a quest to regain their title that was lost last year to Mexico.

Stag Beer’s Manager John Maikoo made the presentation to senior player Theodore Henry during a simple ceremony after the ruggers concluded their practice session.

Maikoo wished the team success at the championships and added that Ansa McAL was always happy to be supportive of sportsmen and women.

In an invited comment, skipper, Ryan Gonsalves thanked the Beterverwagting-based company for the jerseys and stated that his charges are working assiduously in order to be match ready for the competition.

Gonsalves also encouraged other companies to support the national rugby team which has brought glory to Guyana on several occasions.
