The Georgetown Medical Centre Laboratory has been recertified by the Guyana National Bureau of Standards (GNBS). A release from the GNBS said that the recertification came after quality audits showed that the lab continued to satisfy requirements of the GYS 170:2009 Standard pertaining to the operation of a laboratory. The renewal certificate is valid for two years and was presented to the laboratory director, Dr Kawal Dalip on December 30.
