Brothers deny stealing fake lashes, toy gun

Two brothers, one accused of stealing fake eyelashes and the other a toy gun, were each granted $30,000 bail yesterday.

Eighteen-year-old Keiron Douglas and his older brother, twenty-one-year-old Joel Douglas, both of 160 Lot E Farmer’s Plot, Sophia, were charged with stealing a number of items, including fake eyelashes, naphthalene balls (moth balls) and a toy gun when they appeared before Magistrate Judy Latchman at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Courts complex.

The younger Douglas pleaded not guilty when the charge of simple larceny was read to him. It is alleged that on January 4, in
