President Donald Ramotar received a farewell call from outgoing Indian High Commissioner Puran Mal Meena yesterday at the Office of the President, GINA reported. High Commissioner Meena was accredited on May 30, 2012 and replaced Subit Kumar Mandal.
The new Indian High Commissioner to Guyana is Venkatachalam Mahalingam, a career diplomat.
