Magistrate Sunil Scarce yesterday granted $45, 000 bail to a 21-year-old carpenter charged with assaulting and threatening his wife.
The Anna Regina Magistrate’s Court heard that on February 24, at the Charity Housing Scheme, Marlon Benn unlawfully assaulted his wife Darmadai Benn at their residence.
Benn pleaded guilty with an explanation to both charges and after telling the court his side of the story,
