A Sunfoods delivery man was yesterday shot in his side after dropping off stocks at a shop at Independence Boulevard, La Penitence.
Krishna Nanoo, known as Dinks, 31, of Lot 27 Grove Housing Scheme East Bank Demerara, was shot in the right side of his abdomen after being robbed by two armed gunmen around 3pm.
Nanoo was rushed to the Georgetown Public Hospital in a taxi by the owner of the shop. Baig (the only name given) said that he was in the lower flat of his house when his nephew’s wife screamed out at him that someone was getting robbed over the fence. He said he ran out of his yard when
