Stabroek Sports’ Emmerson Campbell and Orlando Charles Friday night received their awards for being the best in their respective fields at the National Sports Commission’s (NSC) National Sports Awards ceremony at the National Culture Centre.
Sports photographer Charles continued the fine tradition of excellence in the field of sports photography by photographers attached to this newspaper which included such practitioners as the late Ken Moore, Robin Pieters and Lawrence Fanfair, by winning his third such award while for Campbell it was his first sports journalist of the Year (print media) award.
