A Croal Street Georgetown man, who allegedly robbed another man on the Essequibo Coast of jewellery, a cell phone and $13,900 was yesterday remanded to prison.
The police alleged that on March 5, Keyon Davis, a labourer, went into the dwelling of Gordon Williams at Perseverance, Essequibo Coast and stole the items mentioned above, worth an estimated $3.8 million.
Davis, who pleaded not guilty to the charge of burglary read to him by Magistrate Sunil Scarce at the Suddie Magistrate’s Court,
