The condition of Annetta Samaroo, 45, who was shot when two men barged into her Fyrish, Corentyne house on Sunday, killing her older sister, has improved.
Hospital sources told this newspaper that the woman was removed from the Intensive Care Unit of the New Amsterdam Hospital and placed in the open ward.
The sources said that the gunshot injuries have caused damage to her colon but she is out of “major danger” and is being closely monitored.
