A Jamaican national who admitted that he had overstayed his welcome in Guyana was fined and ordered to immediately return to his country when he appeared before the Georgetown Magistrates’ Courts yesterday.
Rohan Brown had been staying in Guyana since September 6, 2013 at his girlfriend’s Lot 232 Thomas Street, Kitty home. According to Prosecutor Deniro Jones, Brown, 27, had been granted a six-month stay in Guyana, which was due to expire on March 6, 2014.
