Minister of Amerindian Affairs, Pauline Sukhai has been conferred with the Medal of Merit by the Republic of Congo, the highest order within its category, the Government Information Agency said.
The Minister was also confirmed as the Commander of the Indigenous people within Central Africa for the role played in the International Forum on Indigenous Peoples of Central Africa (FIPAC 3) and in Guyana.
