To observe World Water Day 2014, the Stella’s Sisterhood of Support and Services Foundation (S4 Foundation) donated water to the food bank of the Guyana National AIDS Programme Secretariat (NAPS) and to the Gifted Hands Learning Centre.
The food bank of NAPS which provides monthly nutritional support to eligible persons living with HIV/AIDS and co-infected with tuberculosis, received 25 cases of bottled water from the S4 Foundation, a release said.
Food bank manager, Somdatt Ramessar said that the food bank supports more than 1,200 patients annually,
