The Leadership Council of A Partnership for National Unity-APNU held its statutory quarterly meeting today at the Office of the Leader of the Opposition- Georgetown. A release from APNU said that Carl Greenidge MP, APNU’s Shadow Minister of Finance delivered a presentation on the 2014 National Budget after which members of the Leadership Council discussed and made recommendations for positions to be taken by the Partnership in the National Assembly. The Leadership Council was also given an update of the work of the Special Select Committee on the Anti-Money Laundering and the Countering of the Financing of Terrorism amendment legislation. The release said that the meeting was chaired by APNU Chairman Brigadier David Granger.
