Trainee cop charged with stealing colleague’s phone

Police trainee Wazir Hussain was placed on bail yesterday after being accused of stealing a colleague’s phone.

Hussain, 21, of Lot 2 Norton Street, Lodge pleaded not guilty to the charge before Chief Magistrate Priya Sewnarine-Beharry at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Courts.
