Police trainee Wazir Hussain was placed on bail yesterday after being accused of stealing a colleague’s phone.
Hussain, 21, of Lot 2 Norton Street, Lodge pleaded not guilty to the charge before Chief Magistrate Priya Sewnarine-Beharry at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Courts. According to Prosecutor Michael Grant, on April 28th, at the Felix Austin Police College, a Pantech cellphone worth $90,000 was taken from Kozy Arthur.
