Barbers campaign against gender-based violence

“We are using ourselves as role models,” Seon Blair, of South Ruimveldt Gardens’ De Crib Barbershop, said yesterday. “…To show other males out there that they should pattern from us and desist from hitting, if they are hitting.”

Blair and Leyland Boucher, of the Rite Cutz Barbershop in Campbellville yesterday joined with the American Stores to give back to mothers, as part of the store’s ongoing ‘Mother’s May’ promotion.
