Food for the Poor donates to Chest Clinic

Food for the Poor (Guyana) Inc donated a number of items to the Chest Clinic of the Georgetown Public Hospital Corporation recently. Nurse in charge of the clinic, Sursattie Rajcumar said that the charity has been donating items to the clinic for about five years, according to a press release. The items are very useful to the nurses and to the patients, she said, and commended the organisation for its continuous support to the health sector. The charity’s PR Manager, Wayne Hamilton, said it is cognisant of the needs of the health sector and the difficult conditions that nurses operate under daily, and pledged to lend support whenever possible to the hospital.
