As the Ministry of Education (MOE) intensifies efforts to have Portuguese taught in all schools across the country, it today launched the “Training for Teachers of Portuguese” programme in a simple ceremony held at the Theatre Guild in Georgetown. A teacher training module is to be created at the Cyril Potter College of Education to better equip student teachers desirous of pursuing training in teaching Portuguese, the release said.
