Campbellville shooting probe hits brick wall

 

Investigator’s probing last month’s shooting of Subryanville resident Susanna Da Silva have hit a brick wall in their investigations; there appears to be no apparent motive and no arrests have been made.

The 26-year-old of Lot 75 David Street, Subryanville was taking her mother to the Cheddi Jagan International Airport on the morning of May 16 and had stopped at the home of her sister, Vanuza Da Silva, to collect a package her mother was supposed to take out of the country.

Police in a release had said the woman was in a car with other relatives outside a house on Garnett Street, Campbellville when a car with four men drove up. It was further stated that two of the men who were armed with firearms exited the motor vehicle and as they approached Susanna,
