Joseph expects U17s to be competitive

National men’s under-17 head coach Brian Joseph said that he expects Guyana to be competitive at the upcoming Caribbean Football Union (CFU) u-17 championships which is slated to commence in the Dominican Republic from July 18.

Speaking via telephone during an exclusive interview, Joseph said “I don’t know anything about the other teams in the tournament. I came in knowing in the past that the Guyana team has done fairly well at this level. “At the CFU level, there is no significant difference in quality and I think we will be able to compete with them.
