Upper Takutu-Upper Essequibo was the focus of the most recent outreach to schools by Members of Parliament last Thursday, June 26 and Friday, June 27, 2014.
A release from Parliament Office today said that the visiting team comprised: Speaker of the National Assembly, Raphael Trotman; two Government representatives- Dr. Vishwa Mahadeo and Faizal Jafferally; A Partnership for National Unity (APNU) Members of Parliament Christopher Jones, Sydney Allicock and Annette Ferguson; from the Alliance For Change (AFC) Member of Parliament Trevor Williams; and five parliamentary staff.
