Griffith, Bacchus looking to create fireworks at CPL

Guyana Amazon Warriors duo Trevon Griffith and Robin Bacchus are upbeat about this year’s Caribbean Premier League (CPL) T20 tournament and are looking to make the most of the team’s upcoming encampment ahead of bowl off time which occurs in a few weeks.

When Stabroek Sports caught up with the two left-handers on Friday, Griffith said camp was “Another opportunity to be around experienced players” and he aims to use the occasion to learn from them and further condition himself. The Demerara Cricket Club (DCC) player said despite not playing much cricket since returning from Trinidad and Tobago where he had a good season before being recalled to the national side for the Regional tournament, the lead up so far has been good and his confidence is brimming as a result.
