Pepsi Hikers overcame a three goal deficit to draw 3-3 with arch-rivals (+3) Georgetown Cricket Club (GCC)-A in their division-A matchup when the Noble House Goals Galore Indoor Hockey tourney continued on Tuesday at the National Gymnasium.
Jamarj Assanah reduced the deficit to two goals in the second minute, flicking his strike through the legs of the GCC custodian into the lower left hand corner of the net, from within the right side of the penalty area. The deficit would be further reduced one minute later as Robert France found the back of the net, finishing his effort down the middle of the goal, after collecting a left sided pass unchallenged inside the centre of the area.
