Suriname won the Inter Guiana Games (IGG) Swimming Championships after two days of competition concluded at the National Aquatic Centre on Saturday.
Suriname led its opponents into the final day and maintained that lead to finish as overall champions. They ended with 208 points to French Guiana’s (200) and the locals 146 points.
It was the French team that won the girls’ category with 97 points to Suriname’s 95 and Guyana’s 84 while the Dutch boys
