Bus conductor stabbed by youth after fare row

A minibus conductor was on Thursday stabbed at ‘B’ Field, Sophia by a youth who had previously threatened him over the bus fare.

Shawn George, 34, of Lot 413, 13th Street, ‘A’ Field, Sophia was rushed to the Georgetown Public Hospital (GPH) after his young attacker stabbed him in his chest with a knife, when he opened the bus door to let a passenger out on Thursday. He was also knifed to his left shoulder.

His sister, Melissa George, said on Wednesday her brother was driving the minibus when the young man caught the bus but
