US Customs trains airline employees on fraud detection

The United States Govern-ment, through the U.S. Customs and Border  Protection (CBP), conducted Carrier Liaison Program (CLP) training in George-town from August 11-15, 2014 at the Cheddi Jagan International Airport.

A release from the US Embassy yesterday said that this programme offered standardised training and assistance to international air carriers related to admissibility and the detection of fraudulent documents in order to encourage carrier compliance with US Immigration Laws.
