Invaders Masters defeated Aurora Knight Riders by one run in their thrilling rain-affected final of the South Essequibo 40-overs-a-side competition on Sunday at the New Opportunity Corp ground.
In the low scoring encounter which was reduced to 35 overs after overnight rain, Invaders, inserted by Aurora after losing the toss, batted on a slow pitch with a heavy outfield, and was dismissed for 114 in 29.5 overs, with Beesham Seepersaud top scoring with 23.
