Rohan Teekaram was yesterday committed to stand trial in the High Court for the murder of his younger brother Jairam Teekaram.
Chief Magistrate Priya Sewnarine-Beharry, who presided over the preliminary inquiry into the murder charge against Rohan, informed him that a prima facie case had been made out against him and committed him to stand trial in the High Court at the next criminal assizes commencing next month.
