Non-selection to CFU Championships reflects treatment of foreign born Guyanese players

Former Golden Jaguars captain Christopher Nurse said while he is disappointed that the Guyana Football Federation (GFF) bypassed him when selecting the team for the just concluded CFU Caribbean Qualification Cup campaign it is indicative of their treatment of foreign-born Guyanese players.

Nurse who currently plies his trade for NASL unit Fort Lauderdale Strikers told this newspaper that the federation has overlooked him for two years. “Yes, I was available for selection; however, I have not been contacted by the federation for over two years and it was no surprise at my exclusion
