Straight out of a fisherman’s nightmare: Derek Boston’s ‘Disfigured Pirate’ is detailed and grotesquely fantastic. Boston is a member of the Main Street Art Group, which was formed in the 1980s. Largely unsung, this group of sculptors and painters has been a fixture on Main Street. Members work on their intricate pieces and sell them along the avenue between Church and Quamina streets.
