Edward B. Beharry & Co. Ltd in partnership with Habitat For Humanity today handed over a house to Donna Moonsammy.
Donna Moonsammy (56) (centre) had lived in a wooden shack at Liliendaal Public Road with her two sons, daughter and granddaughter. A release from Edward B. Beharry and Co. Ltd said that the house is in a state of disrepair, leaky roofs, there is no back steps, no running water, no proper sanitation facilities. The release said that Donna lived at this location for the past 27 years. Donna is a single mother of 3 grown children. She is asthmatic and also suffers from arthritis.
