Guyana team touring Ontario dairy industry

A Guyana ministerial mission is currently touring Ontario, Canada to learn from the experiences of the highly successful Ontario dairy industry. The Guyana delegation, led by Agriculture Minister Dr Leslie Ramsammy, is focused primarily on leveraging Ontario’s significant knowledge and experience in the dairy industry. Guyana is preparing to establish a local dairy plant operation.

A release from the High Commission said that the mission was organized by the High Commission of Canada and led by Canadian Trade Commissioner Nicole Johnson. The Guyana delegation includes Government, regional agencies and private sector leaders.
