Ruby Wilkenson, the oldest senior citizen at the Palms, the Government-run home for the elderly will be celebrating her birthday on Monday, September 22, 2014, a release from the Ministry of Human Services said today.
Born September 22, 1910, Ruby, a widow, hails from Linden.
She came to the Palms on May 13, 2005 and fast became a fan of her ward. While she has lost some of her hearing and memories, she is valued as a kind, smart and jovial person.
The management and staff of the Ministry of Labour, Human Services and the Palms extend best wishes for good health to Ruby on her 104th birthday.
