Tony Marcus, who stands accused of attempting to murder a friend during a row over money, was committed to stand trial yesterday.
At conclusion of the preliminary inquiry (PI) into the charge, Chief Magistrate Priya Sewnarine-Beharry informed Marcus that based on the evidence against him, he was committed to stand trial in the High for the attempted murder of Etwaroo Narine, called ‘Cow.’
