More than a month after Marvin Cumbermack was killed during a robbery in Sophia, the police are yet to charge anyone with the man’s murder.
Cumbermack, 29, was killed on the evening of August 11 as he made his way to his girlfriend’s Sophia home from work. According to reports, the Guyana Water and Incorporated (GWI) employee was on his motorcycle when he was intercepted by a bandit. He put up a fight and was subsequently shot.
Three persons were previously held by police but were released.
