Man charged with threatening to kill sister

A brother who is accused of threatening to kill his sister was yesterday ordered not to go within 500 yards of her and was additionally bonded to keep the peace pending the determination of the matter.

Howard Bobb was placed on $45,000 bail after he denied that on September 22, at the Bourda Market, Georgetown, he used threatening language to Janice Bobb, thereby resulting in a breach of the peace.

Prosecutor Michael Grant told Chief Magistrate Priya Sewnarine-Beharry that the man told his sister he would kill her. No further details were presented to the court.
