US hands over communications equipment to GDF

In a short ceremony on September 18th, the Security Cooperation Office of the United States Embassy, Georgetown presented a communications package to the Guyana Defence Force, a release from the US Embassy said today. The package, consisting of several hundred car-mounted and handheld Motorola radios and accessories, was donated to the Defence Force and the Government of Guyana.
