In form Jordan Beaton made it to the finals of two categories of the Bakewell/ Guyana Lawn Tennis Association (GLTA) tournament after wins in the semifinals last weekend at the President’s College Tennis Court.
The Marian Academy student, who made light work of longtime rival Heimraj Resaul to book his place in the final of the Boys U18 category, played with the same urgency to defeat Mark McDonald and book another spot in the final of the Boys U14 division, strengthening his chances of earning the title of the Bakewell Junior Champion.
