Visitors to GuyExpo won flights to various destinations when they participated in the ‘Putt, Win and Fly’ promotion that was part of the Caribbean Airlines’ booth at the annual trade exposition.

According to a press release from Caribbean Airlines Limited (CAL), its Marketing, Sales, Cargo and Ticket Office team members engaged customers over the three nights at the expo and were able to obtain feedback and share information about special fares.

Extending congratulations to the prize winners, Manager (South America) Carl Stuart said that CAL is “the most consistent and committed carrier in Guyana…,” the release said. He then thanked loyal customers for supporting the CAL brand and took the opportunity to mention its “reliability, value added service such as frequent flyer miles, complimentary bags and special discounts for students and senior citizens.”

Pointing to its corporate citizenship in Guyana, the release said the airline has partnered with and supported events such as the Miss World Guyana 2014, the Mother and Daughter Pageant, Mahdia Pre Mash events, Guyana Football Referees Association, Rotary Clubs, the Deaf Association of Guyana and the Guyana medical missions. In addition, in the Diaspora CAL supported the Duck Curry competition in Orlando; Diwali in Broward, South Florida; Guyana Folk Festival in New York; Guyana Independence Festival Progress Campus in Toronto among others.

University of Guyana Vice-Chancellor Jacob Opadeyi and his wife Beverley were among the visitors to the CAL booth at the event which was held from October 2 – 5.
