Public school teachers across the country were today given the day off from classroom work to relax, enjoy and have fun. The break from routine, which has become an annual norm, was in celebration of World Teachers’ Day. Taking advantage of the unofficial holiday, nursery, primary and secondary school teachers within the New Amsterdam-Canje Education District decided to host a Fun Day.
