The Inception Workshop for the Potential Adoption of the Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative (EITI) in Guyana which was held today at the Herdmanston Lodge, Peter Rose & Anira Street, Queenstown, Georgetown. Present were Natural Resources and the Environment Minister, Robert M. Persaud, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Guyana Geology and Mines Commission, Clinton Williams and President of the Guyana Gold and Diamond Miners Associations, Mr. Patrick Harding.
