Only one team managed to bat out its allotted twenty overs when the inaugural Upper Demerara Cricket Association (UDCA) T20 hardball cricket competition commenced last weekend.
Muritaro Young Warriors chalked up 218 for 6 in twenty overs after being put in to bat by Young Achievers on Sunday at the Maria Elizabeth Ground. The Group B encounter, which began at 10.00 AM, was the first in a double header at the ground.
Denzil Peters (70), Nick Estwick (45) and Annan Chattergoon were the main scorers for Muritaro Young Warriors while Kishan Jones with 2 wickets for 29 runs
