Soesdyke Falcons clawed their way past Timehri Panthers by a 5-1 score line when the East Bank Football Association (EBFA) Stag Beer division-one league continued on Sunday at the Grove Community ground.
Trevor Marshall fired the Falcons into the early lead as he found the back of the net in the eighth minute. The lead would then be increased as Orin Tasher netted two minutes later. The Panthers would find a foothold in the fixture as the Falcons conceded an unfortunate own goal in the 33rd minute.
However, Falcons would quickly restore their two goal lead six minutes later through an Ulatto Smith strike. It would then become 4-1 in the 44th minute as
