Activism for young women

Chargé d’Affaires of the US embassy, Bryan Hunt today met with Clonel Samuels-Boston upon her return from the United States after participating in the Embassy-sponsored International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) exchange. A release from the US Embassy said that Samuels-Boston, Coordinator of Women Across Differences (WAD), participated in an IVLP exchange on “Education and Activism for Young Women,” from September 13-October 4, 2014. Participants were offered the opportunity to explore the benefits and challenges of developing women’s leadership skills in American civil society and allow participants to share perspectives on how this is done in their home countries.
